About CAP

Comprehensive AIDS Program of Palm Beach County, Inc. (CAP) was founded in 1985 by a group of friends and family members of people who at that time, were sadly dying with AIDS. CAP’s founders believed that there should be a way to provide care in a dignified manner, free from the stigma and discrimination that often complicated things for people living with AIDS at that time. Since then, CAP has grown to a full-service HIV/AIDS organization, annually serving more than 2,000 people living with HIV/AIDS in Palm Beach County, as well as offering HIV counseling, testing, and referral; targeted HIV prevention services, medical care, and behavioral health services.

CAP has a diverse and dedicated staff of almost 100 professionals who provide services throughout Palm Beach County with three centers located in: West Palm BeachBelle Glade, and Delray Beach, FL.
