Friends and staff at Comprehensive AIDS Program of Palm Beach County (CAP) got in gear to raise funds for the Southern Most AIDS Ride Twenty-Eleven (SMART) Ride 8, the 165 mile bicycle ride from Miami to Key West. The Yard Sale raised over $500 that will be donated to the SMART Ride on behalf of CAP.

CAP OFFERS FREE HEALTH FAIR AND TESTING June 4 in Honor of Caribbean HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

On June 4, Comprehensive AIDS Program of Palm Beach County Inc., (CAP) is helping raise awareness about HIV/AIDS in our community and helping individuals get tested. That Saturday CAP will host a free Health Fair in commemoration of National Caribbean American HIV/AIDS Awareness Day at Pompey Park in Delray Beach from 10 am – 2 pm. The free Health Fair will offer information on HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention education, free HIV testing, food, entertainment and giveaways.
From November 18 to 19, 2011, 500 riders and crew members will hit the asphalt in the streets of Miami and head toward the Conch Republic in the 165 mile SMART Ride 8.
